Number of Ads

Ads are content viewed in the search engine in response to user queries. They consist of headlines, descriptions and final URL. Text ads play a crucial role in Google Search campaigns. To be effective, they should include:


  • Attractive headlines and descriptions

  • Call-to-Action (CTA)

  • Final URL that corresponds to the ad content

  • Assets

According to the Google Ad Grants policy, each ad group should have at least one enabled ad.

How does PING work?

PING checks all enabled campaigns (excluding smart campaign) and analyzes whether each group contains at least one enabled ad.


The number of ads in the ad group is presented after all changes (in case of PING + Assistant), such as pausing disapproved ads.


If there is an ad group without any enabled ad in your campaigns:

How to add an ad?

Select the campaign and click on the chosen ad group, then go to the "Ads & Assets" tab and click on the (+) "Create Ad."



Add attractive headlines and descriptions. Remember that using the maximum number of assets will increase the performance of your ad.


If your ad group was previously paused, remember to enable it again. Otherwise, ad won't be displayed and won't generate clicks.
